1. About MCVRD-PL
MCVRD-PL is an online build and renovation planning service operated by Mc VR Designs, an Irish sole trader business based in Clarina, Co. Limerick, Ireland.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of MCVRD-PL and your subscription to the service.
By purchasing a subscription and using MCVRD-PL, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
For subscription, login key, account or general support, contact support@mcvrd-pl.ie.
2. The service
MCVRD-PL is designed to help users organise and manage information relating to a build, renovation or similar project.
Depending on how you use the service, MCVRD-PL can be used to organise information including project budgets, Spaces, Items, costs, VAT, deposits, quotes, suppliers, snags, calendar information and project notes.
MCVRD-PL is provided as a planning and organisational tool. It does not replace professional advice from an architect, engineer, quantity surveyor, accountant, solicitor, builder or other appropriately qualified professional.
You remain responsible for decisions relating to your project and for checking the accuracy of information entered into MCVRD-PL.
3. Subscription and pricing
MCVRD-PL is a paid subscription service. There is no free version or free trial unless we expressly state otherwise.
The current subscription options are:
- Monthly: €15.99 per month, including Irish VAT where applicable.
- Yearly: €179 per year, including Irish VAT where applicable.
The subscription includes access to the MCVRD-PL features made available under the standard MCVRD-PL plan.
Prices may change in the future. Any change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated where required before the new price takes effect.
4. Payments
Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Mc VR Designs does not receive or store your full payment card or bank account details through MCVRD-PL.
Your subscription may renew automatically at the applicable monthly or yearly interval until it is cancelled.
You are responsible for ensuring that the payment method associated with your subscription remains valid.
5. Access and login key
MCVRD-PL uses a login key to provide access to your account. You are responsible for keeping your login key secure and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.
You should not knowingly share your login key with an unauthorised person.
If you believe your login key has been lost, exposed or used without permission, contact support@mcvrd-pl.ie as soon as possible.
6. Cancellation of your subscription
You may cancel your MCVRD-PL subscription at any time through the subscription management options provided to you.
Cancel anytime. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. Payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
Cancelling a subscription does not normally end access immediately. You may continue to use MCVRD-PL until the end of the period you have already paid for.
When the paid subscription period ends, access to the Planner may be restricted until the subscription is renewed.
We recommend exporting or printing a current Project Report before your paid access ends if you want a copy of your project information for your own records.
7. Consumer cancellation rights
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights under Irish and applicable EU consumer law, including rights relating to distance contracts and cancellation.
Where a statutory cancellation period applies, you may generally have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days, subject to the rules and exceptions that apply to the particular contract and the commencement of the service.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If you wish to exercise a statutory cancellation right or have a question about cancellation, contact support@mcvrd-pl.ie.
8. Project information and your responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter into MCVRD-PL and for ensuring that you have the right to enter and use that information.
You should check costs, VAT rates, deposits, supplier information, dates and other project information before relying on them.
Calculations and summaries produced by MCVRD-PL depend on the information entered into the service. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in incorrect or incomplete project totals or reports.
You should maintain any records that you are independently required to retain for tax, accounting, contractual, construction or other purposes.
9. Quotes, suppliers and project costs
Supplier details, quotes, costs, deposits and other financial information entered into MCVRD-PL are project-planning records provided by the user.
MCVRD-PL does not verify supplier quotations, prices, VAT treatment, workmanship, availability or contractual obligations between you and a supplier, contractor or other third party.
MCVRD-PL is not a payment service between you and your project suppliers or contractors.
10. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep MCVRD-PL available and operating reliably, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet connectivity, third-party service providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may make changes, updates or security improvements to MCVRD-PL where reasonably necessary to maintain, improve or protect the service.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use MCVRD-PL in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or intended to interfere with the operation or security of the service.
You must not attempt to:
- gain unauthorised access to another user's account;
- circumvent subscription or access controls;
- interfere with or damage the operation of the service;
- probe, attack or deliberately exploit the service or its security systems; or
- use MCVRD-PL for activity that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect MCVRD-PL, its users or the security of the service.
12. Closing or deleting your project
MCVRD-PL provides account and project controls that may allow you to delete or reset project information.
Deleting project information may be irreversible. You are responsible for exporting or retaining any information you want to keep before confirming a deletion.
Cancellation of a subscription and deletion of project data are separate actions. Cancelling your subscription does not by itself mean that your project information is immediately deleted.
For assistance with your account or project information, contact support@mcvrd-pl.ie.
13. Intellectual property
MCVRD-PL, its software, design, branding, interface and original content are owned by Mc VR Designs or used with appropriate permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Your subscription gives you a limited right to access and use MCVRD-PL for its intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of the MCVRD-PL software, design or intellectual property to you.
You retain responsibility for the project information and original content that you enter into the service.
14. Liability
MCVRD-PL is intended to assist with organising project information. It does not guarantee that a project will remain within budget, meet a particular schedule or achieve a particular construction, financial or commercial outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, Mc VR Designs is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information entered by the user, decisions made independently by the user, or the acts, omissions, prices, quotations or performance of suppliers, contractors or other third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Privacy and data protection

Where a change materially affects an existing subscription or your rights, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.
